Adjustment Layer for Final Cut Pro X
Adjustment Layer Title for Final Cut Pro X
What's an Adjustment Layer?
An adjustment layer in video editing is an empty layer that you drag and drop above your clip that acts as a window to the footage and becomes visible ONLY when effects or color grading are added. It can be trimmed and extended and serves as a platform to add effects, with the advantage of encompassing and affecting all layers beneath it. This allows multiple clips, titles, and graphics to be edited together under one layer. You can add your color effects and overlays to the adjustment layer and disable the layer by pressing "V" on your keyboard to revert back to your original file. Trust me, this saves hella time!
